The wordmark “Modelithe” and associated logotypes are Trademarks of Flutronic.
The slogan “Let’s advance software engineering together” is a trademark of Modelithe.
The use of the Trademarks are generally permitted on a non-compete, non-abuse case, reasonable ground.
The goal for Modelithe is to advance software engineering on a global scale, and as such, it is not in our intention to prevent or charge for the use of the Trademark.
However, there are a few occasions where – for Modelithe to comply with international law – Trademark must be enforced against:
- claims to provide – for commercial or non-commercial purposes – tools, methods or training that are, provides or implements Modelithe while not including support for all stated editions of Modelithe for the specified revisions.
- claims to – for commercial or non-commercial purposes – represent, sponsor or being represented by, sponsored by or endorsed by Modelithe in any shape or form, including use of logotype without prior agreement.
- creation of social media handles, usernames, pages, subreddits and similar, with the the distinct name “modelithe”, “modelithe_agile” or in any other way that can be mistaken for being official or owned by Modelithe without prior agreement.
Given the overly strict Trademark enforcement done by certain companies on certain technologies, it is worth mentioning that the intention of our trademark policy is to DO allow
- attributed individuals – for commercial or non-commercial purposes – to endorse, recommend, write, talk or present Modelithe as long as what is claimed does not contradict the definition of Modelithe and follows the philosophy of Modelithe.
- criticism of Modelithe in all shapes and forms by attributed individuals.
- commercial and non-commercial conferences to be organized on the subject of, containing talks, or working sessions about Modelithe.
- reproduction of material publicly published by Modelithe under the relevant conditions stated.
- use of the Modelithe logotype in illustrative purposes for the above mentioned reasons.
If you are in doubt, don’t hesitate to reach out for clarifications.
Let’s advance software engineering together!
